Orchestra Juvenalis - A journey of sound and color, spreading from original instruments (Toyosu)

Our members wanted to bring to our guests the music we encountered through our musical experiences throughout Europe. In addition to the works of the great composer Johann Sebastian Bach, we will also include works by musicians who were active around him in our program to give the audience a sense of the historical background of the time and the diversity of a wide range of musical genres. By doing so, we aim to give the audience a deeper understanding of what it was like during Bach's lifetime through his music. We also hope to deliver the charm of Baroque music more faithfully by performing it in a facility suitable for its performance.
Furthermore, we will be performing on instruments that are as close as possible to those used in those days (although they were created in modern times, their tone is faithful to that of those days). We hope that this will allow you to appreciate more deeply the original charm of Baroque music. By reproducing the sounds and characteristics of historical instruments, we hope that the audience will feel the atmosphere of the music of the time and convey the timeless beauty of the music.
