To commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Hoya String Ensemble, we have invited cellist Tetsuya Osawa of the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, who has been teaching the ensemble, to perform Haydn's Cello Concerto, Romanian Folk Dances by two Hungarian composers, Bartók and Belitsáj's Serenade for Strings. The Hoya String Ensemble will perform the Haydn cello concerto.
The Hoya String Ensemble is a 27-member string ensemble that rehearses every Friday in Nishi-Tokyo City and its members range in age from 40s to 90s. Admission is free, so we hope you will feel free to visit us.
