Lacrime or Seven Tears
Fulatta Fantasia is a recorder ensemble group directed by Mr. Yoshimichi Hamada, the leader of "Antonello Ancient Music Ensemble".
In 2022, the group gave its debut performance at Kobe Seiai Church, the same venue as this concert.
This performance will be based on the theme of John Dowland, the English master of melancholia, who will celebrate his anniversary year next year.
In addition to a recorder consort that fits perfectly with the sound of the Renaissance, Dowland is also known for his lute songs. Together with soprano Miki Nakayama and lutenist Kenji Sano, we will present a sweet and sad melancholic world.
The recorder sound will be thickened by up-and-coming young player Terumichi Otsuka, and percussionist Takashi Tajima will add to the beat that is essential to the sound created by Mr. Hamada.
