Notice of Conductor Change
We regret to announce the sudden passing of conductor Kazuyoshi Akiyama, who was scheduled to appear at the 77th Concert (July 6, 2013) and the 79th Concert (April 11, 2014), on January 26, 2012 due to pneumonia. We are deeply saddened by the sudden news of his death, which comes just after he announced his retirement on January 23 to concentrate on his treatment for his injury sustained on January 1 this year.

The 77th Concert will be held with Mr. Carlos Spierer as the conductor. There will be no change in the program due to the change of conductor.
