Makoto Nagura 60 4th Concert Succession: With the Next Generation of Marimba Players

This is the final concert in the series of concerts (London, New York, Kobe/Tokyo) commemorating the 60th birthday of world-famous marimba player Makoto Nagura, who hails from Nada Ward, Kobe.
Under the title of "Succession: With the Next Generation of Marimba Players," Mr. Nakura will be joined by young marimba players who studied with him.

Mr. Nagura has been actively engaged in commissioning new works for marimba as part of his life's work.
This time, his commissioned work for composer Kazuaki Ogikubo will be performed for the first time in the world.
There will be a talk with Mr. Ogikubo before the concert.

The Nada Kumin Hall (5th floor), which is highly regarded for its excellent acoustics during classical music performances, is scheduled to undergo major renovations starting in July, and will be closed for one year and one month until the end of July 2026 (tentative). (The conference rooms on the 1st floor will be available for use.)
Before the renovation, please come and experience a marimba performance that will allow you to fully appreciate the acoustics.
