April 19, 2025 (Sat) Mr. Andreas Holz, former principal oboe player of the Philharmonic Orchestra Freiburg, will visit Japan!

Mr. Andreas Holtz, former principal oboe player of the Philharmonic Orchestra Freiburg, will visit Japan on Saturday, April 19, 2025.

Andreas is a favorite pupil of the oboe virtuoso Heinz Holliger (85), and both Andreas and Holliger have one secret in common that has kept them both active for a long time!

As oboe players, we would like to enjoy playing our beloved oboes forever and ever.

We would like to listen to Mr. Andreas' live performance with oboe lovers in Japan, and learn from the 68-year-old oboe player the secret to playing the oboe even as we get older! The Takarazuka Sara Oboe School has been planning "concerts" and "lessons" for a year, and has succeeded in inviting Mr. Andreas from Germany! This is a great opportunity to experience Mr. Andreas' music in Japan.
