Taleia Quartet's 1st Subscription Concert!
In December 2024, the Taleia Quartet completed a concert of the complete works of Bartók in a single day, which increased their confidence and sense of mission in 20th century music. This year, 50 years after Shostakovich's death, the Quartet will give its all to the String Quartet No. 7 by Mieczyslaw Weinberg, his friend and a mutual influence.
And they will face Leos Janacek's "Voice of the Heart" head-on, passionately and intensely expressing the two pieces "Kreutzer Sonata" and "The Secret Letter".

<Taleia Quartet Profile>
Formed in 2014 while a student at Tokyo University of the Arts. The quartet won the third prize at the Salzburg Mozart International Chamber Music Competition 2015, the first prize at the 4th Soji Hall String Quartet Competition, a semi-finalist at the Osaka International Chamber Music Competition 2023, and the Bordeaux String Quartet Festival Prize. Passed the audition for the "Recital Series of the Project for the Development of Emerging Performers" sponsored by the Japan Federation of Musicians' Association, and gave a recital at the Tokyo Bunka Kaikan Small Hall. Received the Guest Jury Special Prize at the Tokyo Geidai Art Fest 2022. Received grants from the Matsuo Academic Foundation, Enomoto Cultural Foundation, Mitsuyama Cultural Foundation, Business Super Japan Dream Foundation, and Itabashi Ward Cultural and International Exchange Foundation. Participated in Project Q chapters 15,16,17,19. She is a member of the 5th Fellowship of the Suntory Hall Chamber Music Academy, and has appeared on NHK music programs "La La La La Classics," "Classic TV," "Classic Club," and FM radio. and FM Radio "Recital Passio". In December 2024, she performed the complete works of Bartók String Quartet in one day at Musashino Civic Cultural Hall. The concert was well received. Studied with Nobuko Yamazaki and Kazuhide Isomura.
