Mai Yamada Profile
Born in Tokyo. Graduated from Toho Gakuen School of Music, and completed the highest degree at the Conservatoire de Paris. She has won prizes at domestic and international competitions including the All Japan Piano Audition (1st prize) and the Claude Kahn Competition in France, and has actively taken up works by French and English composers, mainly J.M. Dammers, and has been responsible for numerous Japanese premieres.
