About the Early Summer Concert 2025:
　Orchestra Wakyo Early Summer Concert 2025 will be conducted by Mr. Kazuki Wada, who will perform with Orchestra Wakyo for the first time. Please look forward to a new "Japanese" sound spun by the encounter between the Japanese orchestra and Mr. Wada.
　This year's program will feature three pieces: a Japanese work, film music, and classical music.
　Osaka Folk Song Fantasy is very famous for brass band, but it was originally composed for orchestra. Please enjoy traditional Japanese festivals such as the rhythm of the Danjiri music of the Tenjin Festival.
　Spirited Away" was also the piece featured in the first concert of the Japanese Symphony Orchestra in 2021, and is an unforgettable piece from "that summer" for the orchestra. We have had the opportunity to change and grow through many encounters and challenges over the past four years, and we look forward to your listening to "Spirited Away" performed by the current Japanese orchestra.
　Rachmaninoff's Symphony No. 2 is a treasure trove of beautiful melodies that could be described as cinematic. In particular, the third movement is gentle and deep, and everyone has probably heard its graceful melody used in commercials and dramas. We hope you will enjoy the beauty of music spun like a weaving of twists and turns.
　Through this concert, we will be happy if we can share with you the hearts and moments that make you think of the things that are important to each of you, and chew them with tenderness and compassion.

◆About "Orchestra Wah-kyo":
　The name "WA-KYOUN" is intended to mean "the sound of harmony between people". Orchestra Wahkyo is composed of individual members who share this philosophy without any specific organization as a parent body. The name "Wa-Kyo" expresses our wish to weave a musical circle with the sound and resonance of harmony, which is born out of gratitude for the relationships between people and out of respect for each other.
　The concept of our group is "cross-genre". We are sincerely committed to any genre of music, including classical, dramatic, and game music, and hope to deliver the charm of each type of music with high quality performances.
