Masami Ganevi (soprano)
Born in Shikoku Chuo City. Graduated from Osaka University of Foreign Studies. Lives in Brazil.
She has performed with major Brazilian theaters and major orchestras including Sao Paulo Municipal Opera, the largest opera house in Brazil, and in operas, she has performed the title role in Puccini's Lady Butterfly, the role of Mimi in Boheme, Micaëla in Carmen, and the Countess in Le Nozze di Figaro, etc. In concerts, she has performed Lutven's Ninth, Mahler's She has also sung in concert the Ninth Symphony, Mahler's "Resurrection," Mozart's "Requiem," and many other works.
She has also given solo recitals with piano and guitar in Brazil and abroad.
She is a resident singer of "Opera Atelier Artist", the largest opera company in Brazil.
