Yokohama South Orchestra Concert

This year's program will feature Symphony No. 4 "Italia," which Mendelssohn is said to have begun composing during a trip to Italy as a young man,
The free-spirited Pere Gynt wandered everywhere, and we will perform "Pere Gynt", which is a play about his wanderings. (The whole piece!!!)
In addition, J.S.Bach's Concerto for two violins will be performed by our well-known teacher, Shigeko Yoshimura, together with our concertmaster.

This is a very rich program, filled with works from the Classical to the Romantic periods. It is a rare opportunity to hear this kind of music.
