Ota-ku Haydn Chamber Orchestra 71st Regular Concert

The first half of the concert will open with "The Creation of Prometheus," composed as an overture to ballet music, followed by Symphony No. 1 by the 19th century French composer Gounod.
Gounod's symphonies are not often featured in concert, but they are full of beautiful compositions reminiscent of the classical school.

The second half of the concert will feature Mendelssohn's Symphony No. 3, "Scotland. This is the last symphony that Mendelssohn composed after much deliberation after being inspired during a trip to Scotland, and it is a masterpiece that evokes some Scottish scenes.

The program includes Gounod's symphony, which is rarely performed, and Mendelssohn's masterpiece "Scotland," and there are many other pieces to enjoy.
