The Shinagawa Junior Philharmonic Orchestra was established in March 2014 as the only junior orchestra in Shinagawa Ward.
The orchestra is open to students from the second grade of elementary school to the third grade of high school, and its main activities are a summer orchestra experience course, chamber music concerts in the fall, Shinagawa Ward's 9th Event in the winter, and regular concerts in the spring.
Other activities include appearances at local events and joint concerts with other groups.
Practice on Sunday mornings at facilities in Shinagawa and Ota wards. Those who live outside of Shinagawa Ward are also welcome to join.
