PERCUSSION ENSEMBLE by volunteer percussion students of Tokyo University of the Arts
2025/02/18(Tu.) 14:00 Starting
We are pleased to announce a percussion ensemble concert organized by volunteers of percussion students at Tokyo University of the Arts!
This concert, held almost every year, features ensemble works performed by percussionists only (this year there will be a collaboration of wind instruments as well). We hope you will enjoy the charm of percussion through a variety of works and instruments!
This year, we will feature works from Mexico 🇲🇽 and Japan 🇯🇵 on the theme of music that exudes the identity of the composer's homeland.
The program is colorful and enjoyable, with contemporary music pieces that show various faces as if playing with various toys, lively festival music with wind instruments, marimba arrangements of koto music with elegant melodies, and sounds reminiscent of the sounds of nature in Japan!
Please come if you'd like to ✨✨
