The KITOKITO Quartet Vol. 2 concert by former Toho Orchestra Academy classmates will be held at Alley Hall.
The second concert will feature Beethoven's String Quartet No. 7 in F major, Op. 59-1 "Rasumovsky No. 1" and Schubert's String Quartet No. 14 "Death and the Maiden".
The performers will take you on a musical journey of our own through their precise ensemble playing and sensitive musical expression.

Kentaro Shimizu (Vn)
After graduating from the high school attached to the Faculty of Music, Tokyo University of the Arts, Shimizu graduated from the instrumental music department of the Faculty of Music, Tokyo University of the Arts. He completed the training course of the Toho Orchestra Academy. He has studied under Yasuko Morioka, Teru Uchida, Michiko Miyauchi, Asako Urushihara, Chiyomitsu Noguchi, and Taro Uemura. He is a specially-appointed researcher at the University of Tokyo. He has made guest appearances with the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra and others. He is a core member of the Tacticato Orchestra.

Kaon Ito (Vn)
Graduated from Tokyo College of Music. She was a Fukushima Ikueikai Scholarship recipient while a student at Tokyo College of Music. She completed the training course of Toho Orchestra Academy and participated in PMF 2023 as a concert mistress. She has studied with Kuniko Shinozaki, Koichiro Harada, Mayuko Kamio, Kyoko Takezawa, and Eiji Arai, and participated in the National Arts Centre Orchestra Mentorship Program 2024. She is scheduled to participate in the orchestra's tour of Korea and Japan this year.

Miyu Nakajima (Va)
Graduated from Toho Gakuen School of Music. She completed the training course of the Toho Orchestra Academy. She won the first prize at the 15th Cecilia International Music Competition. She has participated in the Ozawa International Chamber Academy Okushiga, Seiji Ozawa Music School, and MMCJ2024. Studied viola under Manabu Suzuki and Yasuhiro Suzuki.
He is a viola player of the Kanagawa Philharmonic Orchestra.

Koichi Fujimori (Vc)
Graduated from the Department of Instrumental Music, Faculty of Music, Tokyo University of the Arts after attending the Music High School attached to the Faculty of Music, Tokyo University of the Arts. Upon graduation, he was awarded the Doseikai Prize. He won the first prize in the university division of the 73rd All Japan Student Music Competition in Tokyo. He has studied cello under Keiko Matsunami, Fumiaki Kono, and Tatsunori Watanabe, and completed the training course at the Toho Orchestra Academy in March 2023.
