Takuji Kuwayama, winner of the first prize overall in the Nagoya Youth Piano Competition, the Aichi Prefecture Governor's Prize, and the first prize in the Professional Division, will give a solo recital on the opening day of Dream Music Hall.
The program will be a journey through the transition of styles from Baroque to modern.
Beginning with Bach, the program will contrast sonatas written in the same key by two masters, Haydn and Beethoven, and then move through small pieces by Mendelssohn, concluding with Stravinsky's magnificent ballet music "The Firebird".
