Kobe Philharmonic The 89th Subscription Concert

The 89th subscription concert of the Kobe Philharmonic Orchestra will highlight two composers whose creative activities were inspired by nostalgic, familiar melodies and folk music.
The first half features the "Otello" Overture from the trilogy of concert overtures by Dvorak, one of the leading composers of the Czech National Music School. The second half will feature the famous "Galanda Dance" by Hungarian composer and ethnomusicologist Kodaly. Both works are impressive for the abundant use of beautiful melodies that each composer is familiar with from his own hometown, and the two composers will share their feelings for their hometowns with the young maestro, who has been remarkably active in recent years, being invited as a guest conductor to major Japanese orchestras, and the Kobe Philharmonic Orchestra, which is celebrating its 45th anniversary. The second half of the concert will feature Beethoven's "Lieder" and "Lieder" by the Kobe Philharmonic Orchestra, which is celebrating its 45th anniversary!
The second half of the concert will feature Dvorak's Symphony No. 9 "From the New World," which is considered one of the "Three Great Symphonies" along with Beethoven's Symphony No. 5 "Destiny" and Schubert's Symphony No. 7 "Unfinished. This symphony, composed while he was living in the United States, contains melodies that evoke the nature and folk dances of his homeland, as well as melodies that are reminiscent of the new world he saw and heard in his new home in the United States. The New World Symphony is full of feelings for his homeland, the Czech Republic, while being stimulated by American culture.
