The 31st Hiroshima Tafel Orchestra Concert

2025/03/15(sa.) 18:00 Starting

HACHIKAICHI CULTURAL HALL Wood One Sakura Pia Main HallHiroshima

The "Tafel" of the Hiroshima Tafel Orchestra is taken from "Tafel Musik". It was started with about 30 members with the aim of creating an orchestra like a chamber music orchestra. Now we are a large orchestra of more than 70 members, and both the conductor and soloists are amateur musicians who enjoy discussing and practicing together.
Over the past 30 years, we have focused on German music, including Beethoven and Brahms.
This year, the group will again perform Beethoven's "Fidelio" Overture and Brahms' Symphony No. 1.
In addition, the group often chooses a soloist from among its members, and this time, Ms. Kaho Kobayashi from the cello section will take on the challenge of being the soloist. The concerto is by Lalo.
Sakura Pia's main hall is very resonant, and we are looking forward to playing there.
It is a bit far from the city, but if you are interested, please come and listen!
