Founded in 1934 by the first leader, Munehiro Okuda. Japan's world-class big band. The band has been called "the most danceable orchestra in the world" as a dance orchestra, and has been an indispensable accompaniment for the Imperial Family and overseas VIPs. Under the leadership of the second leader, Ingy Okuda, the band has been the main band at the Imperial Jazz Festival held at the Imperial Hotel in Tokyo and Osaka for 20 years, filling the rooms to capacity. The band has performed all over Japan and in a wide range of areas including Okinawa. In addition, the band has established a broad musical network in the United States and Asia.
Before the concert, Swingy Okuda will conduct a brass band workshop. 7,000 yen per group.
