This year we "Eterno Brass Quintet" will celebrate 10 years since our formation.
Since this concert is a milestone, we decided to go back to our musical roots.
Our starting point...the brass band. We have encountered the instruments we now hold in our hands, and have come into contact with and learned about various kinds of music. We will perform works for brass quintet by composers we have met through brass band, flexible ensemble works that have been in increasing demand in recent years, and pops works that are often performed in brass bands.
And we have commissioned a new work for brass quintet for this concert from Daisuke Shimizu, who has composed many popular wind band works.
We are sincerely looking forward to seeing you all at the concert.
