Tokyo Seraphic Orchestra 19th Regular Concert

The first collaboration with Mr. Christopher Hinterhuber in two years!
The Tokyo Seraphic Orchestra will welcome Mr. Christopher Hinterhuber from Vienna to perform Schumann's only completed piano concerto, Op. 54 in A minor.

The soloist, Christopher Hinterhuber, was born in Vienna, and currently serves as the Senior Professor and Dean of the Piano Faculty at the world-renowned Vienna State University of Music and Performing Arts, Austria.
As a pianist, he has won top prizes and high honors in major competitions such as the Leipzig Bach International Competition and the Vienna International Beethoven Competition.
He has performed at Carnegie Hall and other major European concert halls, and as a member of the Philharmonic Five, a piano quintet formed with members of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, he performed the music for the film "The Pianist," which won the Grand Prix du Jury at the Cannes Film Festival in 2001. He is also active in a wide range of musical activities, including performing music for the film "The Pianist," which won the Grand Prix du Jury at the 2001 Cannes Film Festival.

The orchestra will be conducted by Takashi Nagamine for the second time, following the Summer Concert.
