Orchestra Sinfonica K Inaugural Concert

We are an amateur orchestra aiming for a unique world view with the primary theme of "always including Japanese works in the program". We were formed in 2024 with the aim of becoming a supportive organization for those who have always wanted to perform Japanese works, but have never been able to get through a music selection committee, or who do not know any Japanese works, but may want to give it a try.

This year's concert, called the anniversary concert, will feature "Sinfonia Tapukara" and "Symphonic Tale," representative works by Akira Ifukube, who left many orchestral works characterized by their nationalistic power in pursuit of Japanese ethnicity. In addition, we will pick up Rimsky-Korsakov's "Spanish Fantasy," which is said to have been his teaching material when he studied composition on his own, and the overture from his masterpiece, the opera "The Emperor's Bride," which is considered his greatest work.

The program includes a number of pieces that are rarely performed by amateurs. If you would like to hear an interesting program, please stop by.
