Nishi Ward Philharmonic Orchestra 25th New Year Concert

The group was formed in 1998 by music director Toru Mizusaki and volunteers living in the Nishi Ward area of Fukuoka City. Today, more than 70 members from across the city gather at the practice base in Imajuku. Under the guidance of a strict but warm-hearted music director and instructors, the group continues to take on various challenges, daring to "grow taller" in order to "perform as well as the professionals".
We cherish the opportunities to meet you at our annual subscription concerts in early summer, New Year's Concerts, special performances of ballet, operetta, and the Ninth, and family concerts in the community. Our motto is "cheerful and fun. Every Saturday night, we have a lot of fun with our happy friends. The smiling faces of our "big family" are always in full swing.
