String Sextet Concert - An Evening of String Sextet

This is a chamber music concert planned by cellist Yabuzaki and presented by specially organized members. The first concert featured a piano quintet, which was well received, and this time we will present a Brahms string sextet. All members are members of "Be phil," a select group of amateur orchestras held in conjunction with the Berlin Philharmonic's visit to Japan in 2023, and we hope you will enjoy Brahms' masterpiece, woven by a diverse array of professionals.
Yabuzaki, who is a pediatrician by profession, works at the National Center for Child Health and Development (NCCHD), and this concert will be held in support of the "Ai no Katachi Fund," which aims to conduct research on rare and intractable pediatric diseases including pediatric cancer, to improve the medical treatment environment and equipment for newborn and infant children, and to educate and train medical professionals who will be responsible for the next generation of child health care. We will establish the "Ai no Katachi Fund.
