Kansai City Philharmonic Orchestra 78th Subscription Concert

The orchestra was founded in 1974 under the name of "Kansai Alumni Symphony Orchestra" by graduates of various university orchestras in the Kansai region, and changed its name to the current "Kansai City Philharmonic Orchestra" in 1994 on the occasion of its 20th anniversary.
With the motto of "a high-grade orchestra for working people based on the spirit of amateurism," the orchestra has been enthusiastically holding regular concerts twice a year as well as family concerts and other events.
In recent years, the orchestra has placed emphasis on improving its teaching system, and has invited excellent professional teachers to join the orchestra as conductors and teaching staff. In particular, the orchestra has invited Zlatan Srdjic (former principal conductor of the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra) to serve as its permanent conductor for four years since 1998, and has received acclaim both at home and abroad for having "made a great leap forward musically.
In addition, the orchestra has been under the direction of Mr. Giorgi Babuadze as its Permanent Conductor since the 41st subscription concert in 2006, and has received training from him as an outstanding violinist (Concert Master of the Kansai Philharmonic Orchestra), and the sound of the orchestra, including strings, has become much more beautiful, The sound of the orchestra, including the stringed instruments, has become much more beautiful, attracting many classical music fans in the Kansai region.
The orchestra is also making efforts to become a "constantly growing orchestra" by actively utilizing its "young power" in its management.
