Graduated at the top of her class from Toho Girls' High School for Music, Piano Department, and was awarded a special scholarship. She graduated from the Moscow Conservatory under the tutelage of Mr. E. Vilsalase as a scholarship student of the RMF after attending the SD course at the same university.
She has studied under Reiko Sugiyasu, Vladimir Takeuchi, Tatsuo Sato, Masako Tsujii, Yasushi Hirose, Minoru Nojima, and M. Kandinsky.
She won the third prize at the Cologne International Music Competition, the first prize at the historic Pozzuoli International Competition, which Pollini also won in the past, and the "Nersessian Prize" and the "Argerich Foundation for the Promotion of Arts" at the Hamamatsu International Competition. He was invited by M. Argerich to perform at the Beppu Argerich Music Festival the following year.
A brilliant pianist, I was moved by his special sensitivity and devotion to music. (M. Argerich) Performed with Yuzo Toyama, Tatsunori Numajiri, Kazuki Yamada, A. Levin, M. Sanderling, and many orchestras in Japan and abroad. He has performed solo recitals, concertos, and chamber music at Suntory Grand Hall, Tchaikovsky Concert Hall (Russia), and many other venues in Japan and abroad. He has also released numerous CDs of chamber music, many of which have been selected as "Record Geijutsu" special editions by Ongaku-no-tomo-sha.
He is an associate professor of piano at Toho Gakuen School of Music.
