Hello! We are the Tokyo Gakugei University Orchestra!
We are an intercollegiate club based at Tokyo Gakugei University, and currently have 85 members in grades 1-4.
Our main goals are the Spring Concert in May and the Regular Concert in December.

In this year's 59th Regular Concert, we will perform three pieces: Kalinnikov's "Overture from the Incidental Music 'Emperor Boris'", Tchaikovsky's "Ballet Suite 'The Sleeping Beauty' Op. 66a", and Kalinnikov's "Symphony No. 1 in G minor".

Kalinnikov's "Symphony No. 1" is a symphony that begins with a melancholy and impressive melody. We have been making music with great attention to detail on how to compose this piece and deliver it to our audience.
The regular concert in December will be the first and last concert that all four grades will perform together.

The three pieces in the program are of a high degree of difficulty, but we hope that the music, which is presented with the will of all the members as one, will be conveyed through the performance.
