Concert for Noto Peninsula Earthquake and Heavy Rain Disaster Area

After the earthquake in Noto, Ishikawa Prefecture on January 1, 2024, activities to restore the area were gradually progressing, but then on 9/22, the heavy rain disaster hit Suzu and Wajima in Okunoto. The words "Why only Noto?" and "My heart is broken" were circulating through the media. The flooding, which occurred just as roads and other infrastructure were finally being built after the earthquake in January, has had a major impact on the way local assistance is provided, and more than ever there is a need to significantly strengthen the number of volunteers who go into the area to provide support. In addition, as we head into winter, Noto must also deal with snow. We need to advance local reconstruction activities as much as possible before the snow gets deeper. In addition to human support, what is needed is logistical support for volunteers. Even though they are volunteers, it is impossible for them to continue to pay for their own transportation, lodging, and meals. It is also very important to create an environment in which they can work as long as possible, even if only for a day. All proceeds from this concert will be used to send volunteers to Noto to work in the area, with the exception of the cost of holding the concert. We sincerely hope that as many people as possible will attend the concert and support us.
