Born in Fukuoka, Japan, she graduated from Toho Gakuen School of Music with a degree in piano. She studied under Izumi Tateno at the Sibelius Academy of Finland as a Finnish Government Scholarship student. After completing the soloist course at the same school with the highest grade, she has been performing not only solo but also chamber music and vocal accompaniment in a wide range of activities at music festivals and concerts in Japan and abroad.
