12/18 World Medecins Sans Frontieres Charity Concert: Connecting Hope 2024

The "Connecting Hope" concert series, which supports the humanitarian and medical aid activities of the World Medical Mission, will be launched in 2022 with the cooperation of internationally acclaimed pianist Gen Tomuro, and will be held for the third time this year.

Conflicts and natural disasters are occurring frequently in the world. Shelters and even hospitals are under attack in Ukraine and the Gaza Strip in Palestine. People in Turkey and Syria are in the process of recovering from natural disasters. The people of Afghanistan, where the medical system is in a catastrophic state. People living in refugee camps with no prospect of returning home. The World Medical Corps continues to provide access to medical care for people in the midst of a never-ending humanitarian crisis.
In addition to performing in Japan and abroad, Mr. Tomuro has always been interested in humanitarian medical aid activities. The sound of her piano has touched the hearts of many people with her hope that everyone will have access to medical care and be able to live healthy lives in mind and body.
