Kishin Trio Vol.5 Shigehiko Kawaguchi Shaoru Maruyama Tomofumi Shimane

-Music of the 19th century spun by original instruments- 2 performances (day and night)

2024/11/08(Fr.) 19:00 Starting

Takagi Klavier Shoto SalonTokyo

This is a series of chamber music works by ancient instrumentalists Shigehiko Kawaguchi (piano), Shaoru Maruyama (violin), and Takashi Shimane (cello). The three, who have been close friends since their student days, started their activities as Trio Ace in 2018 and restarted as the Kika Trio in 2022.
This time, with Chopin as the central figure, the trio will collect works written in the first half of the 19th century by Chopin's teachers, friends, and composers from Chopin's native Poland. Two gut-stringed stringed instruments will play over the unique sound of the "Kramer," which was created during Chopin's lifetime.
This autumn, let yourself be drawn in by the colorful sounds of these original instruments.
