Philip Spark's masterpiece "Year of the Dragon" is familiar to experienced brass band players. Originally composed in 1984 for brass band and arranged for brass band in 1985, the "2017 version" commissioned by the Siena Wind Orchestra, a Japanese professional brass band, has been restructured after 32 years.
