From the streets of Europe - this is the theme of this issue.
The instruments we use today, such as the lute (arch lute), violin, violoncello da supra, and violoncello da supra, most likely have their roots in the Middle East. They were brought to Europe as people migrated through the long history of the Middle East, and various improvements were made to their structures to make them easier to play and use (although some are more complicated than others). The lute was especially valued by minstrels (minnezengers and troubadours) who sang on street corners while playing alone, and were invited to play on the street, or perhaps in a house once in a while, playing popular tunes in concert with the residents. I wonder if they were invited to the house once in a while and played popular songs in concert with the residents of the house.
This time, we would like to give you a glimpse of people's lives in those days, not by listening to music in a formal manner, but by enjoying music in a casual manner with wine in one hand and food in the other.
