Japan Art Center, Salon (Hyogo)
Official https://www.art-center.jp/kobe/geikan/portisland45.html
Yuki Sato is a pianist currently performing mainly in Toyama Prefecture. She has won many prizes at competitions not only in Japan but also overseas, and we cannot take our eyes off her future activities. The program this time includes Debussy's The Maiden with Flaxen Hair and The Fairies are Glamorous Dancers from the Preludes and Mussorgsky's Suite "Pictures at an Exhibition". Although the two composers have different personalities, both are lyrical and imaginative, and their music evokes scenes from paintings.
Concertgoers are also invited to view the art works on display in the Japan Art Center.
We hope you will enjoy the young pianist's passionate and diverse performance in the winter in Kobe!
