OTOTON YAKAI vol.9 -Egaku- (Sound Soul Night Party)

HASEMIKITA's live series "OTOTSUMI YAKAI" is a series of live performances to deliver music from the soul, carefully planned and composed by HASEMIKITA.
The theme of the 9th edition is "Egaku". This is a one-night-only special live performance where you can experience the world of artistic music that transcends time and space.
Co-performers are Katsutoshi Shirasuna, a contemporary artist who manipulates an original musical instrument called "Shirasuna Shiki Ondeki," and ecotumi, who fascinates with a variety of expressions such as singing and dancing. These unique artists will decorate the inorganic concrete space with their art and performances.

◆Mikita Hase
Mikita Hase is a leading taiko drummer and performer. He studied under Eitetsu Hayashi, a leading taiko player. In addition to his own concerts, he is involved in a wide range of activities both in Japan and abroad, including school management, school performances, workshops, and exchanges with artists across genres. He is the leader of the taiko school UTSU-LA [Utsura].

◆Ekotumi Ekotumi

Cultural artist. Singer/songwriter/performer/dancer/storyteller/screenwriter/novelist. Since 2015, she has been giving concerts around the world, mainly in Europe, and has held solo performances in Paris, London, and Lithuania. Her first film as director and performer was selected for "WomenCinemakers" in Berlin.

◆Katsutoshi Shirasuna

Contemporary artist. Percussionist, didgeridoo and mbira player. In his daily life close to nature, he embodies invisible feelings, sensations, and impulses before they become words by using various techniques such as painting, ceramics, and sculpture. He also makes and performs musical instruments, and holds live performances of "Shirasuna-Style Sound Instruments: Musica of Rebirth" in various locations.
