Liko Wimmer

Pianist, educator, and founder of the Liko Method, born in Okinawa, Japan. After graduating from high school, went to the U.S. by herself.
Studied piano performance at the Peabody Conservatory of Music with Walter Hautzig.
She then moved to Paris, France to study with Edson Elias at the Ecole Normale.
He began performing solo and in ensembles from his debut recital in 1987.
Specializing in a talk/lecture style, he has given concerts throughout the U.S., Europe, and Japan.
Since 1985, she has had studios in Baltimore, San Francisco, and Paris, where she teaches students and conducts a series of master classes and seminars for piano educators, and began writing her own method after hearing many concerns about the selection of teaching materials.

The Liko Method is a curriculum that makes students aware of their ability to think, and offers the brain benefits of learning through musical notation, more than just playing the piano, in a game-like way. The Liko Method has been presented in France, Germany, Austria, and Hungary, as well as in the United States.
In 1998, he opened his Beverly Hills-based piano studio, and in 2014, he opened the Liko Method School of Piano. Students range from children to those on the autism spectrum to Hollywood Grammy Award-winning producers and musicians, all taught through a unique curriculum that utilizes classical music and musical notation. The Mouth Sanz Angeles School functions as a think tank, collecting and analyzing data on student and instructor experiences in lessons. He is also involved in operational details not only as a founder but also as the head of the company.
The Liko Method Online Campus, released in 2022, provides access to nine piano books and a lesson recording system, and its member instructors are spread all over the world, including the United States, Canada, Brazil, Hungary, England, and Japan. She currently lives in Los Angeles with her psychiatrist husband, company director son, and rescue mongrel dog.
She is the President of LikoWeimer International and Vice President of the Jan Weimer Charitable Foundation at Stanford Medical School.
