Mobara Symphony Orchestra 26th Family Concert

For this year's concert, we have chosen songs from famous operas and plays.
Verdi's "Overture from the Opera 'Nabucco'" has a moving melody that is considered Italy's second national anthem, "Go, my thoughts, on golden wings," and is sure to make many people say, "I've heard that one before! I've heard it before!
Tchaikovsky's "Romeo and Juliet" is a dramatic work that expresses Shakespeare's love and death in a fantastic orchestral setting.
In addition, Bizet's "Suite I and II from the Opera Carmen" will be performed in its entirety. Many well-known melodies loved by many people will appear. Please enjoy with your children as a family.

Since its first step as a citizen's orchestra in 1988, mainly composed of music lovers in Mobara City, the Mobara Symphony Orchestra has performed many concerts in the neighborhood of Mobara City, including annual subscription concerts, family concerts, concerts commissioned by elementary and junior high schools, concerts commemorating the 40th and 50th anniversaries of Mobara City, and concerts celebrating the municipal organization of Ohami Shirasato City, in addition to annual concerts and concerts for families. We have a wide range of age groups from teens to 80s, and we have new members who come from as far away as Tokyo to practice with us. We are making every effort to share the joy and splendor of music with as many people as possible. We are also looking for new members!
