Telemann Chamber Music Picture Scroll," a project launched in 2020 by Takako Hosaka, violin, and Gaku Nakagawa, harpsichord, to trace the footsteps of Telemann with his chamber music works.
The twelfth installment will present a varied and fascinating quartet of concertos, sonatas, and dance suites composed in Hamburg by Telemann in his prime, with two of each combined for a total of six pieces.
The upper voices are,
Reiko Tsukishiro, a traverso flutist active in the Netherlands
Takako Hosaka, a violinist who studied in Germany
Takako Tanaka, a bass de viol (viola da gamba) player who studied in France
The bass continuo part was played by Take Nakagawa on the harpsichord,
The bass part will be played by Takatsugu Kakeda, who studied in Italy, and the upper voices will be supported by the rich sound of the harpsichord.
The three upper voices require a particularly high level of performance technique, and this is a rare opportunity to hear all six pieces at once!
Please come and join us!
