Kamigata Winds Special Concert to Support Noto Peninsula Earthquake and Ishikawa Prefecture Reconstruction

With the cooperation of Ishikawa Prefecture, we are pleased to announce that on October 12, 2024 (Saturday), we will hold the "Kamigata Winds Noto Peninsula Earthquake/Ishikawa Prefecture Reconstruction Support Special Concert - with Mr. Kohaan" at the Minoh Municipal Cultural Arts Theater, Small Hall (3-10-1 Senbahigashi, Minoh, Osaka Prefecture). We, the Kamigata Winds Executive Committee, are pleased to present a special concert in support of the Noto Peninsula Earthquake and the recovery of Ishikawa Prefecture.
We, the Executive Committee of Kamigata Winds, hope that this special concert will be an opportunity for many students and the general public who love wind ensemble music throughout Japan to focus their attention on the Noto Peninsula Earthquake and Ishikawa Prefecture reconstruction support activities through music (wind ensemble), and to learn about the importance of human life. We will make a small contribution to the reconstruction support activities through the performance of the wind ensemble by the professional brass band Kamigata Winds.
For this special concert, we have invited Mr. Yoshito Wakabayashi, a top leader in the Japanese wind music world (Lecturer at Soai University and Conductor of the Ryukoku University Symphonic Band) as guest conductor and Mr. Kohaan Istvan (clarinetist), who is active not only in Japan but also in the world, as soloist.
