The Minami Senju Burari Shitamachi Music Festival has been held since 2011.
The music festival is not a concert hall, but a place where you can enjoy concerts and walk around the town in everyday local spaces such as shrines, temples, public bathhouses, and soba noodle shops.
2011-2023From a one-day music festival with multiple performances per day with a passport, to a two-day music festival with one performance per venue per day.
This music festival is not only about urban development and community revitalization, but also about the promotion of culture and the arts, and Kayoko Watanabe, the festival director, has kindly agreed to perform at the festival in support of her wish to "create opportunities to appreciate quality music close at hand and to convey the appeal of music to as many people as possible.
