Mayu Takeuchi Piano Recital

Mayu Takeuchi, an up-and-coming performer who has been active internationally since completing her studies in Germany last year, will perform a piano recital at the Mihama Bunka Hall in their hometown of Chiba City, along with an accompanying performance by Kenichi Omori, a cellist who is also making a big impact as a young performer. Vienna, the capital of music. In the past, many composers lived and traveled in this city. Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Brahms, and Chopin. What were their thoughts and feelings in the places where they lived?

In this performance, Takeuchi, who has studied in Japan and abroad, will perform Chopin's "Fantasy Polonaise" and other piano works in his hometown of Chiba, as well as Beethoven's "Cello Sonata No. 3" in collaboration with Kenichi Omori (cello), who lives in Chiba City, for the first time.

After graduating from Toho Girls' High School of Music (coeducational) and Toho Gakuen School of Music, Mayu Takeuchi completed her master's degree at the Hamburg State University of Music and Drama (Germany) in 2023 with excellent grades.
Major awards he has received include the first prize and the Chancellor's Prize at the 19th Nagae Cup International Music Competition, the unanimous first prize at the International Music Competition in Paris, and the second prize at the 2nd Vienna International Classical Piano Competition.
She is currently performing at home and abroad, and will give a solo recital at Nymphenburg Castle (Munich, Germany) in 2023, as well as salon concerts at AIT-ArchitekturSalon (Hamburg, Germany), and other performances by recommendation. The German newspaper Die neue Barftgaans said of her performance in Bad Befensen, "She deeply understood the sentimental charisma of the work and paid an interesting tribute.
