Beethoven: Overture to the Opera "Fidelio", Op.72
Haydn: Symphony No.92 in G major "Oxford
Beethoven: Symphony No.6 in F major "Rural" Op.68

The first half of the concert opens with the heroic and gorgeous overture to "Fidelio" and then turns around to the serene and beautiful melody of Haydn's Symphony No. 92 "Oxford," which is a rather interesting combination of programs.

Oxford" is a symphony with Haydn's typical elegant sound, but it is also enjoyable to listen to, as the middle part of the second movement is played violently in a minor key, and the trio of the third movement includes a playful game of hide-and-seek among the various instruments.

The second half of the concert will be Beethoven's Symphony No. 6 "Rural". Last fall, the orchestra performed Beethoven's Symphony No. 5 "Fate" at the "Ota-ku Amateur Orchestra Festival 2023. This year, we will feature Beethoven's Symphony No. 6 "Rural".

With Haydn's masterpiece, which is rarely performed, and Beethoven's "Denen," which no one knows, there will be plenty of music to enjoy.
