This is the second in a series of concerts started last year to create a stir over the social issue of the shortage of halls in Maebashi City.
The venue is "Tsutsuniwa Hall," which was completed in 2022 by renovating the "Shinonome Shinkin Bank Maebashi Sales Department" in the center of Maebashi City.
This year's concert will feature a flute, cello, and piano trio produced by Mai Suzuki on flute, cello, and piano, with Maebashi native Yasukune Arai, currently active with the Nagoya Philharmonic Orchestra, and Yuka Fujii, pianist with the Gunkyo Chorus, who performed at the concert last year as well.
Since there is no permanent piano in this hall, we will bring in an upright piano as we did last year, and this time we will also bring in a stage (flatbed) on a trial basis to improve the acoustics.
The program will consist mainly of French Impressionist music by Debussy and Ravel.
In addition, we will use natural essential oil of "bergamot," which is related to the performance program, to create a fragrance.
In addition, cakes made with Earl Grey tea (the fragrance is made from bergamot) will be sold exclusively at the venue.
