Ensemble Conforta was formed in 2021 by members of the Ichikawa Symphony Orchestra to perform Mozart's Flute Quartet, and is a chamber music group of flutes and strings. The name "Conforta" means "warm and comfortable" in Spanish, and we named the group "Conforta" in the hope of delivering such a performance.
In addition to violinist Akito Mihara, the group will be joined by a variety of guest players. The concert will feature a diverse program, ranging from pieces you may have heard somewhere before to rarely heard pieces that incorporate instruments such as the harpsichord.
