The 1st Kyoko Fukuda Koto Classic Concert

2024/09/14(sa.) 14:00 Starting

Kioi Small HallTokyo

Official https://yasuko-fukuda.com/news/yasuko-fukuda-first-recital/

We are pleased to announce [Saturday, September 14, 2024] our first classical recital, "The First Kyoko Fukuda Koto Classical Recital" at Kioi Small Hall.

The first recital will be an opportunity for Kyoko Fukuda to once again present in her own recital what she has studied in the master's and doctoral programs at the Tokyo University of the Arts.

I would like to introduce why I focused on these two koto players and composers in my master's course and why I studied about them in my doctoral course, as well as the koto music education at Kyoto School for the Blind and the Blind (now Kyoto Prefectural School for the Blind) that they share.

I would like to continue not only my own study of the classics, but also to continue my research on the classics.

If you are interested in koto research and classics, we would like you to hear them in person and look forward to seeing you there.
