The Funabashi Tachibana Orchestra (Tachikan) was formed in 2007 mainly by alumni of the orchestra club of Funabashi High School in Chiba Prefecture.
Currently, the orchestra is made up of a variety of members, not limited to OB/OGs.
This time, we will be working with conductor Shin Ito for the first time.
This is our first attempt at Beethoven's "Denen"!
In the first half, we will perform Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto with Ms. Kyoko Ogawa, Vn player of Aoi Trio and concertmaster of the Nagoya Philharmonic Orchestra since April 2024.
The Manfred Overture is a work full of the dense romanticism of Schumann's later years.
All seats are unreserved and admission is free, so please feel free to come to the venue.
