The main piece of the first part of this year's concert is "The Sixth Happiest Inn". It is the music for a movie starring Ingrid Bergman, and the best music is provided by composer Malcolm Arnold. The orchestral and brass band versions of the music are rather more famous than the film.
The main piece of the second part is "The Bells of Notre Dame. Notre Dame de Paris, the cathedral dedicated to the Virgin Mary, is currently under reconstruction following a fire in April 2019; it is expected to be rebuilt and reopened to the public by December 2024.
