Windmill Orchestra 50th Regular Concert

This concert will mark the 50th anniversary of the founding of the group.
The members of the group, together with music director Ms. Kaoruko Saji, have been working on "Egmont" since they were students, and it has been ingrained in their hearts and bodies.
After two years of planning, the first and third movements were performed first at last year's 49th Regular Concert, and this time, "Mahler's 9th" will finally be performed in its entirety.
The concert will mark the 50th anniversary with a double cast of conductors emeritus, Mr. Yuichi Takubo and Mr. Shigeo Konda, who have been deeply involved with the orchestra since its foundation.

From July 22 to August 2, the morning edition of the Asahi Shimbun newspaper carried a series of 10 articles by the orchestra's music director, Ms. Kaoruko Saji!
