The 20th Anniversary Subscription Performance / The 200th Anniversary of the First Performance of the Ninth

Ensemble Jupiter will celebrate its 20th anniversary with Beethoven's "Ninth Symphony," the pinnacle of the classical music that the ensemble has been working on continuously.
Coincidentally, this work is 10 times the size of the Ensemble Jupiter, celebrating 200 years since its birth and premiere. Beethoven's quest for a concert open to the public and music as an outpouring of expression led him to "a symphony of a different form. The familiarity of the piece, which can be easily sung by anyone, and the weight of the spectacular performances that have taken place at turning points throughout history, have transcended time and country, and continue to fascinate people.
We, the members of the Ensemble Jupiter, who believe in a sincere approach to classical music and a sincere passion, are thrilled to present "Ode to Joy" at this great milestone of a great work that continues to radiate new charms.
The first half of the program includes the overture to "Leonore" No. 3, which is comparable in scale to the "Ninth" in its majesty and triumphant power.
