This is a selection of classical masterpieces conducted by Ryan Wigglesworth, composer and pianist, who is also Principal Conductor of the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra. The highlight is Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 23, with Imogen Cooper as soloist. Cooper, now a virtuoso in her own right, gives a performance that is full of grace and elegance, and is sure to leave us with a sense of comfort and even nostalgia.
